Hyatt’s brand growth in Mexico, Latin America and the Caribbean is driven by all customer segments. The company’s strategy is based on a few acquisitions, including the 2021 acquisition of Apple Leisure Group.

Camilo Bolaños, senior vice president of development for Latin America and the Caribbean at Hyatt, explained that “since 2017, our intentional growth strategy and our commitment to a profit model based on few acquisitions have allowed us to double our luxury rooms, triple our resort rooms and quintuple our lifestyle rooms, becoming the largest global luxury portfolio.”

He added that the growing brand presence reflects Hyatt’s commitment to satisfying the desires of guests and members, providing unforgettable experiences in preferred destinations. “We are dedicated to growing in the region, entering new and prosperous markets,” he said.
