Medical personnel from Clinic 1 of the Mexican Social Security Institute in the capital of Durango reported the driver’s admission to the emergency area.
According to the report, around 9:00 a.m., Conrado Federico Manuel Ramón, 35 years old, originally from Hermosillo, Sonora, was driving a trailer with material for a maquila factory, bound for Monterrey, Nuevo León.
At kilometer 55, the heavy unit lost traction due to ice on the asphalt and crashed into the hill, which caused it to overturn, leaving it lying on the road.
