The Ministry of Communications and Transportation has announced new toll rates for the Mérida-Cancún highway, effective January 10. Motorists will now pay a total of 645 pesos, while motorcyclists will pay 322 pesos.
For buses, the toll is set at 1,206 pesos, regardless of whether they have two or three axles. Truck tolls range from 1,206 pesos for two-axle trucks to 3,549 pesos for those with eight or nine axles.
The highway has two toll booths: one on the Kantunil-Valladolid stretch and another on the Valladolid-Cancún stretch. Motorists will pay 237 pesos at the Kantunil-Valladolid toll booth and 408 pesos at the Valladolid-Cancún toll booth, totaling 645 pesos. Motorcyclists will pay 118 pesos at the Kantunil-Valladolid toll booth and 204 pesos at the Valladolid-Cancún toll booth.
