When night falls in Mexico City, some winged inhabitants take over the night sky: bats.
Their presence has caused intrigue and amazement among the people of Mexico City, so much so that the Ministry of the Environment (Sedema) and the General Directorate of Coordination of Environmental Policies and Culture (DGCPCA) are organizing the unmissable “Bat Nights.”
This Saturday, January 25, get ready to enjoy activities for all ages, including a tour in contact with nature where you will explore the fascinating ecosystem of bats.
The plan is designed to help you leave myths and fear behind, and reconcile yourself with these allies of nature. In addition, the activities seek to raise awareness about the challenges bats face in the midst of an increasingly urbanized city.
