“With the construction of the new passenger train routes. From Mexico City to Pachuca; from Mexico City to Nuevo Laredo; and from Mexico City to Nogales,” said the president, emphasizing that the three railway routes seek to boost tourism.

Another of the pending projects is the construction of the expansion of 11 highways, where Sonora is also on the list, with sections of Bavispe – Nuevo Casas Grandes and Guaymas – Chihuahua.

In this sense, the governor of Sonora, Alfonso Durazo Montaño, thanked President Claudia Sheinbaum for her willingness to launch actions that benefit the entity.

“Thanks to our president @Claudiashein, this year we will begin with the construction of the Bavispe-Nuevo Casas Grandes highway and we will continue with the Guaymas-Chihuahua highway. Together, we will continue moving forward transforming Sonora into a state of vanguard and shared prosperity,” said Durazo Montaño.
