The Guerrero Prosecutor’s Office reported this Saturday the arrest of four people, alleged members of a gang of kidnappers operating in the port of Acapulco.
In a statement, the state authority indicated that an arrest warrant was executed against three men and a woman, for the crime of aggravated kidnapping.
According to the data collected in the investigation file, on October 24, 2024, a veterinarian left his business located in the Costa Azul neighborhood when he was deprived of his freedom by those arrested today.
Later, Moisés “N”, Rodolfo “N”, Roberto “N” and Abigail “N” would have made phone calls to relatives of the victim demanding a monetary payment in exchange for his release.
Based on the lines of investigation, the Specialized Prosecutor’s Office Against Kidnapping of the Guerrero Prosecutor’s Office confirmed the participation of the detainees in the crime, which led to obtaining the arrest warrant against them.
After being captured in an inter-institutional operation, the kidnappers were informed of their constitutional rights and placed at the disposition of the judge who requires them.
