For the second consecutive day, Mazatlán received a tourist cruise ship, this is the eighth ship this January.
The cruise ship “Discovery Princess” arrived in Mazatlán this Tuesday from Los Cabos, with 3,548 passengers, which added to those who arrived on Monday, there are more than 7,000 visitors in two days.
The Secretary of Tourism in Sinaloa, Mireya Sosa Osuna, reported that for this month of January the port will add a total of 13 arrivals of tourist ships of the 143 scheduled for the entire year.
The “Discovery Princess” represents the eighth ship that visits the port in 2025; after disembarking, the cruise passengers toured the most emblematic tourist sites of the city.
This week, the port received the “Navigator Of The Seas” on Monday, with 3,720 passengers and 1,246 crew members, which with those of Tuesday added up to 7,268 passengers and 2,621 crew members in total.
The arrival of the “Carnival Panorama” is expected on Wednesday, which will close the week with three ships.
For the end of the first month of the year, the return of the “Discovery Princess” is planned (January 21 and 28), the arrival for the first time in 2025 of the “Ruby Princess” (January 25) and the return of the “Carnival Panorama” (January 29).
