Surprise! Costs of toll booths on the Guadalajara-Puerto Vallarta short route increase again

They were just getting used to paying 1,290 pesos to use the Guadalajara-Puerto Vallarta short-haul highway, which reduces travel time to two and a half hours, and now they are showing an increase in each of the toll booths, which represents 6.52 percent more than what they were usually paying.
It was in December when the last stretch of the highway in Bucerías was opened, which started the Guadalajara-Puerto short-haul highway, and although not everyone celebrated the cost it represents, less than 30 days after its opening, the cost of these has already gone up.
From paying 1,290 pesos per trip, since last Friday, January 10, the toll was readjusted, so you will have to pay 1,380 pesos to get to Puerto Vallarta in two and a half hours.

The costs of the five toll booths until December 21 were the following: Arenal, 193, Plan de Barrancas, 288, Amado Nervo, 193, La Peñita, 171 and 445 for the last section of the Bucerías toll booth, giving a total of 1,290 pesos and 2,580 round trip.
Currently, what you will pay for these toll booths are: 205 in Arenal, 306 in Plan de Barrancas, 205 in Amado Nervo, 181 in La Peñita and 483 pesos in Bucerías, giving a total of 1,380 pesos and 2,760 round trip.
That is, it will be 90 pesos more to pay to use these five toll booths to cut the time to two and a half hours on the Guadalajara-Puerto short route.
The measure has sparked anger on social media from users who consider the price to be high and with this increase it has become exaggerated as they insist that years ago they paid 500 pesos per trip.
In this sense, reducing the trip by practically half but increasing the cost of the toll booths to more than double is a price that some do not want to pay.
