The Expo Boda Guanajuato capital will take place from February 7 to 9 in different venues designed for wedding celebrations in the city, as announced by municipal authorities and the private sector.
In this regard, Roberto Hernández Paz, director of the Expo Boda, mentioned that this will be the fifth edition of the exhibition and will have a three-day traveling experience, emulating an authentic marriage union.
He announced that the event will have a street party on Friday, a tour of the wedding venues on Saturday and a brunch or after-wedding in the participating spaces on Sunday.
In this sense, he commented that attendees will be able to see the different wedding spaces and enjoy mixologists, tent rentals, musical groups and everything necessary to celebrate a party.
The Expo Boda Guanajuato capital is an important event for the tourism sector, since romance tourism represents a strong source of income for the city. Last year, 321 weddings were held in the city, representing an average expense of 4,500 pesos per person in each of the celebrations.
Tickets for the Expo Boda are on sale on the Boletia website, and the costs depend on the type of attendee.
The University of Guanajuato issues safety and coexistence recommendations for students who rent accommodation, with the aim of promoting a safe, harmonious and respectful environment within the university community.
Event program
- Friday, February 7: Registration and official inauguration on the steps of the Juárez Theater, followed by a white street party and an inaugural cocktail.
- Saturday, February 8: Yellow and blue routes to visit different venues and service providers, food tasting and a star-studded event with a parade of wedding dresses and bridesmaids.
- Sunday, February 9: Brunch-afternoon wedding in different hotels and venues.
The venues and service providers that will participate in the event offer a variety of options so that couples can choose what best suits their needs and tastes. Some of the venues that can be visited are the Juárez Theater, the San Javier Church and the Temple of La Valenciana.
