Which cars in Oaxaca must participate in the license plate exchange?
According to the official regulations of the Ministry of Communications and Transportation (SCT), all states are required to renew license plates every three years for reasons of security and vehicle control. In Oaxaca, the following license plates must be replaced:

The only license plate valid as of June 1, 2025 will be the one that shows the image of the eight regions and the maguey of Oaxaca given as of June 26, 2023.
