Jalisco stands out as a power in tourism, thanks to its cultural wealth and traditions recognized worldwide. In this context, the Secretary of Tourism, Michelle Fridman, presents an innovative vision that takes advantage of the multiple opportunities that the state offers in this sector.
From Guadalajara and its metropolitan area to destinations such as Puerto Vallarta, Costalegre and the interior of the state, Fridman promotes a comprehensive plan focused on strengthening key areas such as security, infrastructure, connectivity, promotion and the quality of the tourist offer.
The state has two of the most important airports in Mexico, which are among the five main ones that concentrate 90% of international flights. This fact underlines the need to improve the connectivity network, making it easier for visitors to explore all regions of the state by various means.
This strategy includes projects such as an air bridge that will connect Puerto Vallarta with Costalegre, and a nautical staircase study that seeks to position this corridor as an ideal destination for yachts.
With these initiatives, Michelle Fridman, who collaborates with Governor Pablo Lemus Navarro’s team, seeks to raise the quality of the tourism offer in Jalisco, benefiting both established and emerging destinations and magical towns.
