Bernardo Rodríguez Alamilla, Attorney General of Oaxaca, reported during the weekly conference that three vehicles were found in which the missing youths were traveling on the Oaxaca Coast.
He said that the three motor units appeared in Ejutla de Crespo, before the detour to the Barranca Larga-Ventanilla highway, during the past weekend.
The Oaxacan Attorney General indicated that the investigations continue to determine if there is any evidence in the vehicles that helps to find the whereabouts of the missing.
He also confirmed that the last cell phone signal of one of them was recorded in the community of Río Grande, in the coastal area.
“Six of the youths had criminal records, we as authorities continue with the investigations, because we are interested in knowing what happened to these youths,” he said.
Initially, the families and friends had said that there were 14 young people, however, the authorities maintain that officially there are seven complaints filed by the relatives and that the young people lived in the San Martín Mexicapam, Montoya and Atzompa neighborhoods in the city of Oaxaca.
The families and friends of the young people continue to ask for their urgent location and concrete actions in their search.
