One person was injured in a shooting early Thursday morning near the La Joya and Los Olivos subdivisions, north of Mazatlán.
Police authorities reported that the vehicle in which the injured man was traveling had several bullet impacts.
The attack occurred after 4 a.m. when the driver of the truck was traveling north on the Mexico 15 International Highway.
No details were offered about the victim’s health status or how many impacts he received.
Public security elements cordoned off the area from the early hours of the morning to carry out the corresponding investigations.
The vehicle with bullets was removed by a crane, while authorities work to clarify the incident.
On Wednesday night, another attack was reported on Clouthier Avenue, where a car with bullet impacts was abandoned.
