Adriana Vega promotes tourism collaboration between Querétaro and Valladolid

On her working tour of Spain, Adriana Vega Vázquez Mellado, head of the Querétaro Tourism Secretariat, met with the mayor of Valladolid, Jesús Julio Carnero, and the councilor for Tourism, Blanca Jiménez. During the meeting, the official highlighted the achievements of the gastronomic and tourist twinning between both regions, which has allowed strengthening the development of the sector through the fusion of traditional cuisines of Mexico and Spain.

Vega highlighted the fruits of this collaboration, such as the organization of the National Pinchos and Tapas Competition Mexico, where Querétaro chefs compete for a place in the world competition in Valladolid.

This event has positioned Querétaro in the international gastronomic panorama, promoting creativity and the dissemination of its cuisine. In addition, the secretary recalled the links in the development of wine tourism between both regions. With growing wine regions and global recognition, Querétaro and Valladolid work to promote their wines as a cultural and tourist experience, thus strengthening their local economies.
