The Mexican Navy successfully rescued four foreign nationals from a yacht that lost propulsion 178 kilometers southeast of Cabo San Lucas. The individuals were unharmed.
The incident occurred when the yacht, identified as “Tits Pierre,” lost propulsion. The Los Cabos Naval Search, Rescue, and Maritime Surveillance Station (ENSAR) received a request for support from the Cabo San Lucas Harbor Master’s Office. A smaller Defender-type vessel was dispatched to safeguard the lives of the crew.
Upon arrival, naval personnel rescued the four individuals and transferred them to the dock of the Naval Sector of Cabo San Lucas. The medical team confirmed that the rescued individuals were in good health and without injuries. They later continued their journey on their own.
