The state of Veracruz was present at the International Tourism Fair (FITUR) that this 2025 took place in Madrid, Spain from January 22 to 26.
The state delegation, headed by the governor, Rocío Nahle, participated under the motto “Veracruz is in Fashion”, and through it, the cultural, natural and gastronomic wealth of the entity was made known, as well as the elements that combine tradition, modernity, natural passages, beaches, waterfalls and rivers, to position it as an important destination of excellence at an international level.
During the event, Veracruz artisans also participated, who surprised those present with their great ability to design and wear typical artisanal costumes.
Unique shows were also presented to increase the interest of the attendees in Veracruz as a key tourist destination, including a ceremony of the Voladores de Papantla, presentations of huahuas, jaraneros, jarochas and traditional musicians, and the exhibition of an exact replica of the legendary Café de La Parroquia.
At the event, Governor Rocío Nahle stated that “Today more than ever, Veracruz is in fashion” and that the state delegation participated to show the world the best of the state.
