Aeromexico and Delta Air Lines announced on Monday two new routes between Mexico and the United States, which will begin operating on June 5.

In a statement, they detailed that these are the flights: Mexico City – Philadelphia and San Luis Potosí – Atlanta, which will have a daily frequency, with the aim of increasing travel options.

“This addition raises to 26 the total number of destinations connected between both countries, through 57 routes and a joint operation of more than 90 daily flights,” Aeromexico said in the document.

Aeromexico said that the San Luis Potosí-Atlanta route will be operated with Embraer 190 equipment, since it will be attractive for the business travel segment; as well as for issues related to the automotive industry.

The route schedules will be:

San Luis Potosí – Atlanta

Departure 9:00 am
Arrival 2:22 pm

Atlanta – San Luis Potosí
Departure 3:39 pm
Arrival 4:49 pm

The airline also recalled that the Joint Cooperation Agreement (JCA) with Delta Air Lines added 28 new regular and seasonal routes in 2024, in addition to having served more than 50 million users since its implementation eight years ago.

Philadelphia is the largest market in the United States without direct flights to Mexico, so it will extend its service to this city, joining the routes inaugurated during 2024 in the northeast region of the country: Boston, Newark and Washington DC.
