A British woman went viral on social media after documenting in a video how she went to a market located in Mexico City (CDMX) to buy her groceries and enjoy fresh food to prepare homemade recipes with that Mexican touch.
In a TikTok video, the woman with the username @cronicasdelaguera said that she has been living in Mexico for six years, so one of her favorite activities is going out to do her shopping at a market in Mexico City where she can find local food for the week and snacks to share with her husband.
The young woman, who was perfectly comfortable with excellent Spanish when starting a conversation, bought popular ingredients in Mexican cuisine, such as a full tray of white eggs, fresh cheese, and vegetables such as broccoli to prepare her meal. However, what caught the attention of Internet users was her latest purchase, some cream gorditas that she said were her favorites.

Once the woman bought everything she needed to prepare her breakfast at home, her last purchase at this Mexican market was some delicious cream gorditas to enjoy as a snack in the company of her husband, as she assured that she loves this particular food!

The fresh attitude and perfect Spanish of this British woman were some of the reasons why Internet users praised her in the comments of her video, as she showed that her love for Mexico begins with the food and the foods that can be found in these types of places.
