From social networks, the Secretary of the Interior, Rosa Icela Rodríguez Velázquez, offered the report of the program Yes to disarmament, yes to peace, implemented this Wednesday in Chilpancingo, Guerrero.
Regarding the destroyed weapons, Rodríguez Velázquez indicated that they total 501; in addition, 416 handguns, 85 long guns and 37 grenades were handed in by the population.
Regarding magazines and cartridges, 25,277 and 367 were collected respectively during this day.
Finally, the Secretary of the Interior thanked the support in favor of peace to all the people who have decided to voluntarily and anonymously hand over their firearms in exchange for cash.
