On Thursday night, a group of protesters gathered on the Mexico-Querétaro Highway to block the road, at kilometer 98 near the town of Calpulalpan.
The C5 of the state of Mexico reported the event, so that motorists can anticipate their exit.
With bonfires, the residents closed the way to vehicles, causing long lines of road settlement. Federal Roads and Bridges of Income and Related Services (CAPUFE) reported on its “X” account that the closure is in both directions of the road.
The residents indicate that they took this action to avoid the passage of Pemex reactors, they also accuse the contamination by Hydrocarbons of the Mexicaltongo Spring, Jilotepec, they also say that for more than 2 years there has been no solution to this situation that affects several populations. They threatened to remain on the site until they get a response from the authorities
