Andrés Manuel López Beltrán, current Secretary of Organization of Morena, opted for a National Guard (GN) Boeing plane instead of the Mayan Train to travel from Tulum to Campeche, as reported by the portal “Cambio 22.”
The son of former president Andrés Manuel López Obrador was seen earlier in Cancún, where his brother Gonzalo was set to have his wedding at a Vidanta Rivera Maya resort in Puerto Morelos. López Beltrán and a companion traveled by land to Tulum airport to begin their air journey, reportedly at the expense of the treasury.
At 5:22 p.m. on Wednesday, January 29, the Boeing 727 with registration XC-NPF, owned by the National Guard, departed from Mérida, Yucatán, heading to Tulum Airport “Felipe Carrillo Puerto” to pick up the couple. Guarded by GN elements, the couple continued their trip to San Francisco de Campeche.
At 7:36 p.m., the aircraft with serial number 22663 parked in position 3 of the general platform, close to the airport command, allowing López Beltrán and his partner to leave the terminal discreetly. Later, López Beltrán socialized with Morena militants in Campeche, according to cambio22.mx.
