Following the agreement between the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo, and her counterpart from the United States (US) Donald Trump, to reinforce the border between both nations with 10 thousand elements of the National Guard (GN), the Mexican elements have begun to move towards that point.

For now, the intention is to carry out the humanitarian rescue of the countrymen who will be expelled by the immigration law established by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, and thus give continuity to the agreements established with the President of Mexico, Claudia Sheinbaum.

Campeche

This morning 135 elements of the GN were transferred to the international airport of Tijuana. In total, 113 men and 22 women left at 7:00 a.m. in Mexican Air Force planes.

From the state of Campeche to the border with the US, the elements of the GN moved for three hours, until they reached their destination.

The GN estimates to carry out two more flights with C-130 K Hercules and C-27J Spartan aircraft, until completing 500 elements from the state of Campeche.

Quintana Roo

The first 120 elements of the National Guard that will reinforce security in the north of the country, left Cancun, on Tuesday morning, during the week more troops will take off from the state, for a total of 800 agents.

Tlaxcala

On Tuesday morning, the XXIII Military Zone located in Panotla, Tlaxcala, deployed 300 elements of the National Guard, who will help with the efforts to reinforce security on the northern border of Mexico. These elements will arrive in Piedras Negras, Coahuila.

In total, 10 thousand elements will guard the passage to the United States. It should be noted that the Tlaxcala Military Zone is one of the zones that provides the most elements of the 10 thousand that will be deployed.

Around 6:00 a.m., the three hundred elements of the 17th battalion were stationed on the main esplanade to carry out a roll call and board the military trucks and vans.

Minutes before 7:00 a.m., the convoy made up of more than 50 vehicles left for the center of the country to later continue the route to the northern border.

According to commanders, surveillance and security work in the Tlaxcala state will not be diminished or affected, since military personnel will be deployed.

Yucatán

118 elements of Yucatán, left the International Airport of Mérida, Yucatán, aboard the Boeing 727 aircraft, registration XC-MPF (GN-401), belonging to the GN, bound for the International Airport of Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, in order to support the National Security Strategy.
