The 2025 carnival season is approaching, so in Mexico City it has been announced that the second edition of the so-called “Carnaval de Carnavales” will take place on February 8 in the Historic Center.
Attend the mega party in the Historic Center this coming Saturday, February 8, an event will be held where you can enjoy the best artistic and cultural activities.
Did you know that in 2024 the Carnivals were declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Mexico?
Therefore, we recommend that you attend, enjoy and observe colorful costumes, folk dances and native music. The charros, chinelos and huehuenches stand out.
For this edition, 74 comparsas from municipalities such as Azcapotzalco, Gustavo A. Madero, Iztacalco, Iztapalapa, Magdalena Contreras, Tláhuac, Tlalpan, Venustiano Carranza and Xochimilco will be participating.
Where will the tour begin?
The tour will start from the Monument to the Revolution and its final destination will be the esplanade of the Zócalo Capitalino.
