Andrés Manuel López Beltrán, secretary of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena), held a meeting with activists in the port of Veracruz.
The event was held in a hall in the city.
Although those attending the meeting refused to give details about the topics discussed, it was revealed that the electoral process for 2025 was discussed, in which the 212 mayoralties in the state will be renewed.
Morena will seek to consolidate its presence in the municipalities this year
