The Security Cabinet of the Government of Mexico reported that, in two days, the so-called “Border Operation” yielded positive results, with the arrest of 111 people and the seizure of 54 firearms (20 from the United States), as well as 10,188 live cartridges and 310 magazines.
In addition to the seizure of just over 14 kilograms of marijuana, 380 kilos of cocaine, 0.59 kilograms of methamphetamine, 0.0125 kilos of heroin, 8.4 kilograms of fentanyl, 90,775 Mexican pesos, 76 vehicles and seven properties.
It detailed that these actions were carried out in the states of Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas.
The Security Cabinet highlighted that these results were achieved with strict adherence to the Rule of Law and with full respect for Human Rights.
