- Nearly 150 National Guard police officers arrived in this municipality to reinforce security tasks.
Police sources reported that the agents arrived from Acapulco last week.
Before the arrival of the exclusive cruise ship The World, known as The Millionaire’s Ship, last Wednesday, the officers had already begun their patrols in the city and nearby communities.
In the Center, in neighborhoods like La Puerta and places like Ixtapa, the National Guard is carrying out vehicle inspections and a greater presence has been noticed on the streets.
