The categories include children, youth, sovereigns, and sexual diversity for kings, and preschool, children, youth, and free for comparsas.
The floats will start their journey on February 28, traveling from Constituyentes Avenue to 30th Avenue, then to Juárez, and continuing on 10th Avenue to Plaza 28 de Julio. On March 3, there will be a pedestrian parade of comparsas on Quinta Avenida from Parque Fundadores to Constituyentes. The festivities will conclude on March 4 with the traditional burning of Juan Carnaval.
This diverse and engaging program promises to bring entertainment to both locals and tourists, showcasing Playa del Carmen’s rich cultural heritage.
