With six votes in favor of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) and the National Action Party (PAN), and three against the Citizen Movement (MC), the Green Ecologist Party of Mexico (PVEM) and Morena, the admissibility of the impeachment against the governor was approved.

Following this decision, the start of proceedings against Samuel García Ruíz has been declared admissible. He must present a report on his defense on February 20 at 4:00 p.m.

The order to address the issue and sanction the Executive corresponds to the Superior Chamber and the Specialized Regional Chamber of the Electoral Tribunal of the Judicial Branch of the Federation.
