Mazatlán received this Wednesday the visit of the tourist cruise ship Carnival Panorama with 5,712 passengers and crew on board, which reactivate the demand for services in the port, it is estimated that it will leave a spill of 5.5 million pesos in economic spillover.
The ship from La Paz brought 4,292 passengers and 1,420 crew members, who will have the opportunity to visit the main tourist attractions of the city, enjoy its beaches, its gastronomy and its culture.
The cruise ship will remain in the port until 5:30 p.m., time in which tourists will be able to do various activities, from walks along the boardwalk to visits to iconic places such as the Lighthouse, the Golden Zone and the Historic Center to later resume their journey to Puerto Vallarta.
With the arrival of the Carnival Panorama, Mazatlán continues to consolidate itself as a key destination for cruise tourism in the Pacific, benefiting merchants, restaurateurs and providers of tourist services.
This week there are two cruise ships and according to the schedule of the National Port System Administration, two cruise ships will arrive at the destination next week.
