Transporters announce a mega march from the State of Mexico (Edomex) to Mexico City (CDMX), next Monday, February 17, 2025, for alleged abuses and abuses due to the fabrication of crimes and extortion.
According to what was referred to through a statement, the members of the Union of Transporters, Merchants and Entrepreneurs of the Republic, will leave from four points of the State of Mexico territory and 1 of the capital towards the National Palace, in the center.

The mobilizations are scheduled for next Monday, February 17 at 8 in the morning and the affected points will be:
San Cristóbal iron bridge, taking the Mexico-Pachuca highway.
Mexico-Querétaro highway, at the Tepotzotlán toll booth.
Mexico-Cuernavaca Highway, at the Tlalpan toll booth.
Calzada Ignacio Zaragoza, from Cabeza de Juárez.
Mexico-Toluca Highway, from the Marquesa toll booth.

According to the statement, the Union of Transporters, Merchants and Businessmen of the Mexican Republic will demonstrate ‘against the abuses and abuses suffered due to the fabrication of crimes and extortion by the authorities.
Our sectors are fundamental for the economic development of the country. However, we face constant threats that violate our right to work with dignity and security,” they say.
They also indicate that they cannot allow ‘continuing to criminalize transporters, merchants and businessmen through unfair processes that affect assets and stability.’
“No to extortion, no to the fabrication of crimes, we demand justice and transparency” is the slogan of the call for this mega-march.
The Union called for a peaceful march with the objective of ‘demanding the clarification of the unjustly fabricated cases’.
Unity is strength and together we will ensure that our voice is heard and our demands are met,” they emphasized in the text.
