The State Government, through the Government Secretariat and the State Institute of Public Education of Oaxaca (IEEPO), received the petition from the Coordinadora Estudiantil Normalista del Estado (CENEO), to begin its analysis and, in due time, give a response.
Officials from both agencies appeared at the kiosk in the main square of Oaxaca City, where students from 11 normal schools in Oaxaca were protesting, in the framework of the delivery of their petitions.
In a climate of respect and civility, the young people were informed that each of their requests would be channeled to the competent areas.
This administration keeps open the channels of dialogue with all sectors of society, therefore, at no time has it refused to attend to the demands of the population, consequently, pressure actions, such as blocking streets, have no justification.
The government headed by Salomón Jara Cruz guarantees the free expression of ideas and is committed to quality education as a way to achieve personal and collective development.
