A direct attack left one man injured, who managed to save his life after taking refuge in the “Antonio Gómez Maqueo” Nautical School, on Thursday afternoon.
The attack occurred at 5 pm on Thursday on Gabriel Leyva Avenue, on the border of the 12 de Mayo and Montuosa neighborhoods, near the headquarters of the 4th Military Naval Region.
The information establishes that the injured man was driving a gold-colored Ford Lobo pickup truck, an old model, when he was intercepted by the occupants of another unit.
The man was injured in one of his legs by the shots, so he managed to take refuge in the Merchant Navy educational facility.
The school staff alerted the emergency services, who moved to the area to provide first aid.

After receiving pre-hospital care, the paramedics transferred him to a hospital.
The gunmen fled the area without being arrested, despite an operation to locate them.
Personnel from the Forensic Services of the State Attorney General’s Office took charge of collecting evidence to begin the investigations.
No collateral victims were reported in the area.
