This Wednesday, a former investigative police officer in San Luis Potosí named Rosalinda Ávalos accused a candidate for the Judiciary of having links to the murder of her two children.
In a video shared by several media outlets, Ávalos said that Sabas Santiago Ipiña Ramírez “is one of the cronies of one of the defendants in the murder of my children, he is even in the Sonora prison, Miguel “N.”
El Sol de San Luis reported that she wants to become a judge “to protect her cronies and friends involved in the double murder of my children that occurred in 2020 in Soledad de Graciano Sánchez.”
Allegations of links to organized crime
According to the complainant, Sabas Ipiña, known as “El Mexqui,” was linked to the General Directorate of Investigation Methods as head of the group to combat drug dealing, a position that, according to Avalos, he used to maintain close relations with organized crime groups in La Pila and Mexquitic de Carmona.
“This individual has alleged links to organized crime… to the point that he is sponsored by soccer teams, that is how close his friendship is with these groups,” said Avalos, who also stressed that he has precautionary measures against the accused.
Avalos warned that Ipiña Ramírez is seeking to be a judge to intervene in the case of the murder of her children and benefit the alleged perpetrators who, according to her, are her friends.
Irregularities in the Application
Rosalinda Avalos also accused the Evaluation Committee of allowing Ipiña Ramírez to advance in the selection process for first instance oral trial judge despite not meeting the requirements.
She said that this cannot go unpunished. He was even registered in two committees. “We want justice for our country, justice for my daughter, justice for my other children.”
She commented that her children were killed for doing their job as an investigative police officer.
“He was a police officer. He was incapacitated by a gunshot wound that he received in a confrontation where he was also in collusion. He became incapacitated and now he retired. Now he will be able to enter as a judge.”
