During the night of Monday the 18th and the early hours of Tuesday the 19th of February, a storm fell on several municipalities of Puebla, causing surprise among the inhabitants.
But without a doubt, the phenomenon that attracted the most attention during this storm was the fall of an intense lightning bolt that would have been generated by the collision of two clouds.
This same phenomenon caused a loud bang that was heard in multiple neighborhoods of the capital of Puebla and that also caused vibrations in windows, doors and even the ground, according to several citizens.
In videos that are already beginning to circulate on social networks, you can hear the sound that surrounds the environment after the trail of light caused by this lightning bolt.
With a duration of more than 12 seconds, the bang caused fear among the capital’s inhabitants, who admitted that they confused it with an earthquake or activity of the Popocatépetl volcano, even creating memes about the event, as well as comments among Internet users.
