State, federal and military agents carried out a mega operation in different bars in the municipalities of San Andrés Cholula and Santa Clara Ocoyucan, an area adjacent to the city of Puebla.
During the searches, in which almost 200 agents from the State Attorney General’s Office, the Mexican Army, the National Guard and the State Police participated, drugs were found and six bars and chelerías were seized, most of them in the tourist area of Cholula.
The sites seized were “Wing Tage”, where 4 packages with white powder with characteristics similar to methamphetamine were found; “Spot 420”, where they found 20 packages with dried grass that appeared to be marijuana and 4 jars with several packages of the same drug.
As well as “Sagrada Pulquería”, where 5 packages with white granulated powder with characteristics similar to methamphetamine were found; “Bar Caribeñas”, 6 plastic bags with white powder with characteristics similar to methamphetamine were found.
In addition to “Bar Texano”, where 8 packages with granulated powder with characteristics similar to cocaine and one more with a substance similar to methamphetamine were found; and “El Abuelo”, with 4 packages with white powder with characteristics similar to methamphetamine, 2 packages with cocaine and a glass pipe.
