National Guard agents seized live cartridges for an assault rifle hidden inside a guitar case, during a security inspection at the “Garita San Emeterio” Customs Office, as part of the Secure Border Operation.

The discovery occurred when checking the luggage of a passenger bus. With the help of an X-ray scanner, federal agents detected the .223 mm caliber cartridges, commonly used in assault rifles, inside the compartment of the case.
