The disappearance of the Alcántara Chama family has sparked widespread concern and activity on social media. The missing married couple, their daughter, and her maternal grandmother—were last seen on the night of February 18, 2025, in the Las Brisas subdivision of Veracruz.
The missing family members are:

– Leticia Chama Palacios (mother)
– Ángeles Alcántara Chama (daughter)
– Imelda Palacios (maternal grandmother)
While details about their ages and physical characteristics remain undisclosed, social media posts have circulated images of an adult couple, a young woman, and an elderly woman.
Relatives reported that the family was last seen in the Las Brisas subdivision, north of Veracruz, around 11:30 p.m. on February 18. Since then, they have not answered any calls or messages.
The news has rapidly gone viral, with social media users sharing photographs and contact information in hopes of finding the family.
As of now, the Veracruz State Search Commission (CEBV) has not released official alerts or confirmed whether a formal disappearance complaint has been filed with the Attorney General’s Office of Veracruz.
