Grupo Firme receives death threats in Mazatlán. Grupo Firme is at the center of controversy.

The group from Tijuana, Baja California is one of the most popular at the moment.

However, they are facing controversy after a narco banner appeared in their homeland in which they are warned that they will be annihilated if they appear in Mazatlán, Sinaloa.

Local media reported on Tuesday, February 25, the appearance of a narco banner in Tijuana, Baja California.

It is striking that the warnings were accompanied by a human head which was placed in a cooler, a resource used in the world of drug trafficking.

“Grupo Firme, if you play at the Mazatlán Carnival we will kill you all,” begins the delicate message addressed to the musicians and which was placed on a bridge on the Tijuana-Rosarito Highway.

And it adds: “Remember that you live in Tijuana. We will even kill the one who puts on the lights.”

The images that were spread on the account of X @josuealeexis caused terror in the place where the messages were placed, so the drivers who detected the threats immediately informed the authorities.

It is worth mentioning that a similar message had already been sent in recent days, so it will be in the next few days when the group’s position will be known.

Grupo Firme’s performance at the Mazatán Carnival is scheduled for March 1.
