Federal Forces dismantled 4 “narco camps” and 3 observation posts in Sonora; a communications antenna was also seized.

This, according to the weekend report of the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection (SSPC) in which it is indicated that the aforementioned events took place in 4 Sonoran municipalities.

“In Arizpe, Bacoachi, Nogales and San Luis Río Colorado, elements of the Mexican Army and National Guard located 3 camps and 4 observation posts used by members of organized crime, in addition, they seized a communication antenna, a solar cell and four vehicles,” the document indicates.

Meanwhile, in Navajoa, a person who was kidnapped was rescued. In this action, 2 people were arrested, 2 long weapons, 2 short weapons, 82 cartridges and a vehicle were seized; In the same municipality, after a search of a property, 17 vehicles were seized, 8 reported stolen, 8 four-wheelers and 3 trailers.

On the other hand, in Tubutama, elements of the Defense and National Guard seized 22 improvised explosives, as well as 2 vehicles, 3 long weapons, 43 magazines, 2,782 cartridges and various doses of drugs.

And in Altar, the Ministry of Defense seized a light machine gun -Minimí-, as well as 8 magazines, 340 cartridges, various doses of drugs, a tactical vest, two ballistic plates, a tear gas grenade and a vehicle.
