After two years of not having a fair in Nayarit, this 2025 it will take place, but with very clear rules that the government of Nayarit has already announced.
The singers who attend, such as Alfredito Olivas, who will have two performance dates at the Entertainment Center in front of Palenque, will not be able to sing war corridos or tumbados, due to the law approved in the Congress of Nayarit, which prohibits the dissemination of this type of music at public events, the same will apply to all the groups that are on the billboard.
In that same space, there will not be the traditional cockfights, which were a strong attraction for the public that enjoys these shows.
Although the fair will have free admission, the massive dances that will take place on the Explanada del Recinto Ferial will cost 100 pesos, and they must end at 2 a.m. sharp and the sale of alcoholic beverages will be in moderation.
The fair will begin on March 21 and it is intended that, beyond the usual shows of these celebrations, there will be a cultural focus with the presence of the Guelaguetza, for example, and spaces where the dissemination of art, science and various artistic expressions will predominate over the usual programming.
