The Consul General of the United States in Tijuana, Christopher Teal, attended the Ensenada Carnival last weekend. During his visit, he met with the municipal president Claudia Agatón and highlighted the importance of strengthening local connections and continuing to work together.

The American official pointed out the importance of continuing to prioritize the safety of locals and American tourists who enjoy the beautiful destinations and events that Baja California has to offer.

“Thank you to Ensenada for making this carnival an example of strong ties between our nations” shared through a message on social networks, the Consulate General of the United States in Tijuana.

Through these efforts, the CaliBaja region seeks to position itself as an unmissable tourist attraction, with greater security and prosperity for its visitors.

A big celebration! Thousands of attendees enjoy the Great Carnival of Ensenada 2025

The Great Carnival of Ensenada 2025 has brought together more than 130 thousand people in concerts and various activities within the celebration area. Civil Protection estimates include attendance at the stellar concerts of Matute, Banda El Recodo and Los Ángeles Azules.

It is important to mention that the largest attendance recorded corresponds to Friday, February 28, when the Ensenada Carnival broke records with a record of more than 67 thousand attendees.

“Today we have made history together! It was an honor to receive so many families and visitors who shared the joy and magic of this event. This carnival belongs to all of us, and together we continue to make Ensenada a place full of life, culture and emotion” highlighted the mayor in a message shared on social networks.

It should be noted that the celebration was headed by the coronation of the Carnival Queen, carried out by Mayor Claudia Agatón. The event also featured a stellar performance by the Banda El Recodo.
