Puerto Vallarta gas stations give the ‘fuchi’ to the Sheinbaum pact

Today, the pact signed by the government of President Claudia Sheinbaum and the country’s gas stations to sell Magna fuel for no more than 24 pesos per liter came into effect.

Despite this, the gas stations in Puerto Vallarta did not join the pact, so they are not part of the 1,050 gas stations in Jalisco that joined.

A tour of the city’s gas stations shows that fuel prices are above the set amount, above 24 pesos per liter for Magna (on average 24.99 per liter or more), and above 26 for Premium.

The only gas station that sells Magna for less than 24 pesos is the private Costco, which sells it for 23.99 per liter, but to fill up there you need to be a member.
