Members of the Interinstitutional Group located and seized various doses of suspected drugs in two dispensaries located in the Playa Sur subdivision and the Flores Magón neighborhood in Mazatlán.
The operation led by personnel from the Navy in coordination with military forces and federal and state personnel also allowed them to seize a vehicle.
It was reported that the first action was carried out when naval elements were conducting land patrols and after a citizen complaint they went to a property located in the Playa Sur neighborhood.
It was at the aforementioned address where they located two glass jars with bulk weed, 1,503 doses, 12 bags and 366 grams of suspected marijuana, as well as 23 doses of suspected LCD, six bags of apparent cocaine and a dose of what appeared to be the drug known as crystal.
The second operation by the naval personnel was carried out in the Flores Magón neighborhood, where they located a vehicle, inside which they seized six bags with doses of THC (cannabis), 12 bags with doses of THC, a container with granulated material and 18 electric cigarettes.
Likewise, the Navy elements seized 579 grams, 591 doses and a jar of grass with characteristics of marijuana.
The federal agency indicated that all of the above was seized and made available to the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office to carry out the corresponding investigations.
The Navy invited citizens to use the emergency number 911 in a timely manner, as well as 089 to make anonymous complaints, in order to assist the authorities.
