The 2025 edition of the Mazatlán International Carnival “La Perla” concluded with a total attendance of 1 million 231 thousand 725 attendees, an economic spillover of 1.143 billion pesos and a hotel occupancy of 86%, consolidating its positive impact on the tourist and commercial sector of the port.
The carnival reaffirmed its importance as a tourist and cultural engine, attracting national and international visitors who enjoyed a program full of shows, concerts, parades and activities that celebrated the Sinaloa identity. These figures reflect Mazatlán’s positioning as one of the most attractive destinations in the country, combining tradition, entertainment and an infrastructure prepared to receive thousands of tourists.
One of the most outstanding events was the second carnival parade, which brought together 515 thousand attendees, consolidating itself as one of the most popular celebrations in the port. During the festivities, the arrival of tourists from Durango, Torreón, Saltillo, Monterrey, Mexico City, Querétaro, Sonora, Chihuahua and various entities in the center of the country was reported, as well as visitors from the United States and Canada.
In addition to the impact on hotel occupancy, with 14,035 rooms registered in hotels and 18,000 on vacation rental platforms, the carnival allowed a significant increase in the local economy, benefiting tourism service providers, hoteliers, restaurateurs, transporters, tour operators, artisans and merchants.
The Mazatlán International Carnival 2025 not only left a clean balance, but also reflected the confidence of visitors and the strength of the tourism sector, consolidating it as a key event for the economy and the promotion of the port.
