The State Attorney General’s Office carried out 23 searches in the capital of Querétaro, within the framework of the Sinergia por Querétaro strategy, which resulted in the arrest of 10 people for crimes against health. Security forces from the three levels of government participated in the operation.
The searches were carried out in 19 neighborhoods, including La Trinidad, Las Américas, Loma Bonita, San José El Alto and Lázaro Cárdenas. Elements of the National Guard, the Mexican Army and state and municipal corporations intervened in the operation. As a result, the authorities seized five properties, three firearms, 57 cartridges, cash and various doses of illicit substances.
The action reinforces security operations in the entity. This deployment is part of the Attorney General’s strategies to combat high-impact crimes, in coordination with local and federal corporations, with the aim of improving security in the region.
