Through a statement, the agency mentioned that the problem is in the Mina well system.

Which municipalities will be affected by water cuts in NL?

Although it has not been said if it is about all the colonies, the affected municipalities are Mina, Abasolo, El Carmen and Hidalgo, so they should be attentive to the official pages for any notice.

“Water and Drainage Services of Monterrey reports that an electrical failure in the Mina well system is affecting the water supply in the municipal capital colonies of Mina, Abasolo, El Carmen and Hidalgo.”
Regarding this problem in the well system, the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) responded to the report number to restore electricity, and thus be able to correctly carry out the pumping system.

“Work is already being carried out by the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE), in response to report number D-1008969188 to restore electricity and, in turn, the pumping system.”

When will the water cuts in Mina, Abasolo, El Carmen and Hidalgo end?

So far, it is not known if more municipalities could be affected, however, the CFE is already working to repair this failure.

It is also unknown how long it may take to solve the problem or if they will need other days, so the agency asked to be attentive to any indication on social networks.

“We appreciate the understanding of the users. We will continue to inform through our official channels.”
