Seven people, including two women and three minors, disappeared in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, on February 27, 2025, according to data from the State Commission for the Search for Missing Persons of the State of Sinaloa.
According to the Commission’s search form, the disappearances occurred on the same day that the Mazatlán International Carnival began, the most important festival in the port. It should be noted that the seven people disappeared within a period of two hours.
Among the victims is Andrea Amairany Martínez, 16, who disappeared in the Zona Dorada neighborhood and was reported missing at 10:45 p.m. The disappearance of Christopher Ramón Córdova Lizárraga, 16, and Samuel Acosta Valdez, 20, was also reported, last seen at 10:00 p.m.
Kevin Ernesto Verdugo Cervantes, 17, disappeared in the Benito Juárez neighborhood, according to his search file. The last time he was seen he was wearing a royal blue sweatshirt and jeans, at 9:20 p.m.
The other people who remain missing are Gabriela Magaly del Ángel Cordón, who was last seen at 10:52 p.m. in the San Fernando neighborhood; José Ángel Vélez Cabrera, whose last recorded whereabouts were also in the San Fernando neighborhood; and Luis Alberto Zambrano Landeros, with last contact in the Santa Elena neighborhood, both reported at 10:00 p.m.
