Baja California is seeking 40 additional travel advisors to participate in the prestigious Tianguis Turístico in Baja California, Mexico, as well as an exclusive pre-trade show FAM (Familiarization) trip to the breathtaking Valle de Guadalupe region.
The opportunity allows travel advisors to attend the trade show as hosted buyers and experience the scenic Valle de Guadalupe, famed for its world-class wine, cuisine, and landscapes, at an almost negligible cost. Advisors interested in this program can apply by filling out a designated form.
The itinerary begins with participants arriving at San Diego International Airport on April 25, where they will stay overnight. The FAM trip kicks off on April 26 and continues through April 28, showcasing the beauty of Valle de Guadalupe. Afterward, attendees will proceed to the Tianguis Turístico trade show, held from April 28 to May 1.
Participants in the FAM trip will enjoy a luxurious two-night stay at the renowned El Cielo Resort in Valle de Guadalupe. Additional perks include complimentary roundtrip coach airfare provided by the Baja California Tourism Board, premium accommodations, gourmet meals and beverages, exclusive transport to all locations, and VIP access to the Tianguis Turístico trade show.
The Tianguis Turístico serves as a prominent platform for the tourism industry, featuring up to 1,500 national and international buyers and around 900 exhibitors representing travel brands and companies from 91 countries. The event hosts an estimated 88,000 business meetings, with participants ranging from global hotel chains like Marriott to regional organizations such as the Los Cabos Tourism Board.
This initiative provides travel advisors the chance to network with industry leaders, forge new business relationships, and deepen their expertise in planning travel to destinations across the globe.
Participants are required to cover a nominal fee of $199, plus taxes, for their stay on April 25 at the Sheraton San Diego, which includes complimentary airport transportation and serves as the starting point for the FAM trip.
