During Holy Week, hotel occupancy will reach up to 80% in the state’s boutique hotels, especially those located in Querétaro’s Historic Center, said Isaac Dehesa, president of the association.
He mentioned that the areas of Bernal, Cadereyta, Tequisquiapan, and the city of Querétaro are receiving more visitors for this holiday.
“Especially the state itself is doing very well in terms of occupancy,” he said.

He emphasized that, although Holy Week 2024 reported good occupancy numbers, this year they expect hotel occupancy to be similar to last year’s.
This holiday season marks one of the best occupancy periods of the year for the boutique hotel sector.
It should be noted that the Querétaro Boutique Hotel Association has 25 hotels affiliated with the hotel, although there are nearly 50 hotels of this type in the state.
Meanwhile, the Secretary of Tourism, Adriana Vega Vázquez Mellado, explained that for the Easter holidays, 330,000 tourists are expected, with an occupancy rate of up to 70%, and an economic impact of 1.5 billion pesos.
“On Holy Week, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, of course, we are expecting hotel occupancy rates above 80%,” she mentioned.
