The euphoria surrounding Shakira’s return to Mexico continues to grow. After selling out eleven dates in Mexico City (7), Monterrey (2), and Guadalajara (2), the Colombian singer announced four new concerts in the country as part of her “Las Mujeres No Loran Ya” tour.
The new performances will take place on the following dates and venues:
August 29 – GNP Seguros Stadium, Mexico City
September 2 – Corregidora Stadium, Querétaro
September 6 – Akron Stadium, Guadalajara
September 12 – Cuauhtémoc Stadium, Puebla
Tickets will be available for presale on March 28, while general sale begins on March 29.
Shakira’s return to Mexico has not only been a box office success but has also generated significant economic benefits. With seven sold-out dates in Mexico City, more than 455,000 people are expected to attend her concerts at the GNP Seguros Stadium, boosting various sectors of the local economy.
Preliminary data from the Ministry of Tourism indicate that hotel occupancy in the capital will reach 66% during the tour, a 5% increase compared to the usual average. Meanwhile, the Ministry of Economic Development (SEDECO) estimates that the tour will generate an economic impact of 4.49 billion pesos, benefiting hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, and a wide variety of businesses.
The enthusiasm for Shakira has been undeniable since the announcement of her tour. More than 2.5 million people have visited Ticketmaster in search of tickets, making her the most searched artist on the platform in the last year (from March 2024 to March 2025).
Additionally, between 30 and 40% of attendees will travel from other states to attend the concerts, reinforcing the tour’s impact on domestic mobility and tourism.
